PalmSHIELD Gates and Louvers featured at State-of-the-art facility in Iowa

PalmSHIELD horizontal louvered fence screen was used at the new state of the art Johnson Public Safety building, Johnson County, Iowa. The louvered gates incorporate a crash beam on the interior and Palm Shield louvered system on the exterior. On either side of the gate are two large stanchions used to leverage the beam in the event the gate is rammed by a vehicle.

PalmSHIELD cantilever gates and swing gates are one of a kind. Each gate is fabricated independent of the louvered panels. Once fabricated, the louvered panels are installed. This is significant as the structural frame should be independent and designed to support the panels. As the gates are cantilevered across the opening, PalmSHIELD will not warp or bow. After fabrication, each gate is factory tested to assure there is no deformation.
